Meet Our First Rescue Dog

Asher is a 10-12 month old Siberian Husky mix with a heart full of energy and love. He weighs 47 pounds. He was rescued from a storm drain in the Cove after being abandoned by his previous owners. His journey to recovery and happiness has been remarkable. After being pulled to safety, we discovered Asher had intestinal worms. He went through dewormers, a thorough vet exam, received his vaccinations, started heart worm preventative, and was neutered. He successfully recovered from his intestinal parasites, a setback that didn’t stop him from showing his sweet and affectionate nature. He is full of puppy energy and loves to run and play. Within just ten days, Asher found a loving family where he is now living his best barking life. His story is proof second chances really do matter. His recovery is a beautiful reminder of the difference compassion can make.
Meet our 2nd and 3rd Rescue Dogs

Domino is the mostly white dog on the left. He weighs 59 pounds. Freckles is the dog with black spots on the right. He weighs 47 pounds. These two young pups are about 1 to 1.5 years old. They had a really rough start in life. They were dumped out of a black pick up truck in the St. Andrews neighborhood of Panama City. A neighbor shot at them while they were in the road scared and confused. Luckily, they weren’t hurt and were quickly taken in. At first, they were shy and unsure, but it didn’t take long to see how sweet they really are. Domino loves giving lots of licks, and Freckles loves to run and play. We got them neutered, vaccinated, and started on heartworm prevention. With time, patience, and lots of love, they started to come out of their shells. Within just 10 days, we were able to place them with Lucky Pup Rescue, where they’ll have a chance to find the safe, loving homes they deserve. The story of Domino and Freckles teaches us never to judge a book by its cover, as some may think these dogs look scary, but they are really just fur balls of love and energy.
